Fish We Target on Fly and When:
Redfish: Year-round with "Bull" Reds most common Mid-October thru February

Dolphin (Mahi, Dorado): Best time to fish with fly rods is on weedlines from Late April thru late July or early August

Tuna: Yellowfin Tuna can be caught year-round but the best time to attempt  Yellowfin on the fly is from January thru March at Sakett Bank, aka "Midnight Lump". This is also an ideal place and time to find large Blackfin Tuna (30+pounds) and potentially Mako Sharks. This is the best opportunity for fly anglers because of the significantly lower water depth at Sakett Bank.

Cobia (Lemonfish, Ling)
: May thru September, with peak time being late August into September due to converging migrations. Large numbers of Cobia can be found hovering around near-shore oil rigs or any other structure/object in the water. These are amazing fly rod fish and at times abundant.

Triple Tail: These fish can be found off-shore and near shore all summer long with peak time being late July through August. Find a weedline, grass clump, bucket, refrigerator door, crab trap buoy or anthing else floating offshore during the Summer and there is a good chance that a Triple Tail will be hanging out underneath.
