Welcome to Woodland Plantation
The Southern Comfort mat at the front door of Woodland Plantation lets you know what to expect during your stay with us.......pure Southern comfort and hospitality. We love to have our clients stay at Woodland Plantation in lower Plaquemines Parish whenever possible. The plantation is nestled on the banks of the Mississippi just South of New Orleans and just minutes from prime fishing grounds. The plantation has the atmosphere you would expect from a historic plantation home in Southeast Louisiana. That atmosphere is provided by the beautiful grounds and the wildlife that inhabits the grounds, the historic buildings on the property including the original main house, the authentic Cajun cuisine that seems to flow endlessly from the kitchen in Spirits Hall, and especially, from the staff members at Woodland who make you feel like family. You will know everyone by name when you leave and they will know you. We like to think that the ideal fishing trip to Louisiana is more than just about the fishing. The entire experience will capture your heart. The fishing, the food, the fun and your soon-to-be friends are calling. Come join us for a fishing adventure and a cultural experience you will never forget. South Louisiana is as our license plates read, a "Sportsman's Paradise"
