Louisiana Flywater Guide Service is owned and operated by Capt. Alec Griffin. Alec has been fly fishing for almost 20 years and has been chasing Louisiana Redfish around the marsh for almost 10. As a native of the Smoky Mountains in Western North Carolina and a former Trout guide in Jackson Hole, WY, Alec brings a wealth of knowledge to the table through his experiences in both fresh and saltwater fly-fishing. Alec has been a fly-casting instructor for years, offering both private lessons as well as group/corporate instruction. Alec welcomes anglers of all skill levels to the boat and although he still gets very excited at the sight of each Redfish, he takes a laid back approach to guiding and makes sure to keep anglers relaxed and having fun. Translation: you will never get fussed at for missing a fish on Alec's boat!!!
